Before there was a world, there was Hundun. It had no face. No eyes, no ears, no mouth, no nostrils. It was a being of pure undifferentiated chaos - not evil, not good, simply everything mixed together before categories existed. Two gods from the north and south decided to repay Hundun's hospitality by giving it seven holes so it could see, hear, eat and breathe like them. They drilled one hole per day. On the seventh day, Hundun died. And the world as we know it was born from that death. This is not just a creation myth. It is a warning about what happens when you impose order on something that was never meant to be ordered.
